Microbiological in-situ treatment

When there are appropriate soil structures, the in-situ procedure assures biological degradation and discharge of harmful substances without excavation.

This procedure is based on the combination of a conventional ground air extraction method with the controlled nutrient infiltration via infiltration system into the unsaturated ground area. Bio ventilation simultaneously utilises pneumatical and microbial pollutant elimination.

To achieve this, the ground is infiltrated with a solution of micro organisms and nutrients, which is again extracted by vacuum pumps.
