Our „ContraCon-soil washing procedure“ is one of the wet mechanical processes.
   
The basic principle of its mode of action is the removal of the harmful substances from the soil particles by inducing mechanical energy. The solution medium in this case is water and small amounts of biologically short term degradable surface-active substances.

The pollutants mostly are displaced to the finest particles of the soil and, at the same time, transferred into the cleaning medium in the form of a suspension or emulsion.
Separation of the sludge fraction that is now heavily polluted, is achieved by mechanical classification with regard to grain size and density.

The special advantage of the ContraCon-procedure is that the equipment can be built together from single modules, thus enabling easy on-site use and individual conceptual design for each damaged event.
